Acknowledgement of Country

Spring Bliss Festival respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians and owners of country throughout this land and their cultural and spiritual practices which encompass their connections to land, sea and community.

We pay our respects to the ancestors and to elders past, present and future of the indigenous peoples of this land.

Our event is being held at Ngannelong (Hanging Rock) which intersects the boundaries of three Kulin Nation Peoples - Wurundjeri (Woi Wurrung), Dja Dja Wurrung (Djaara) and Taungurung. We respect and acknowledge their care of country and recognise their culture and heritage is still and always will be important.

We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and wish to support the increase of awareness and recognition of first nations peoples and the continuation of culture.
